Another reason to hate football!!!

Now Sunday and Friday nights are off limits?....WTF
The Lingerie Football League (LFL)-headed out of California - is a women's indoor football league. The women play 7-on-7 full contact tackle football games. The idea came from a Super Bowl halftime TV special. The ten teams are scheduled to play in a 20-week season with games at major arenas and stadiums. Games will include two 15-minute halves and a ten or twelve minute halftime.Uniforms consist of helmets, shoulder pads, elbow pads, knee pads, sports bras, and shorts - sure to be enjoyed by men far and wide! There are no field goals and no punts. The teams consist of 18 players- only 12 active on game day and in the event of a tie, an 8-minute overtime is played. The league is scheduled to play from September 4, 2009 through January 29, 2010, one game each Friday. The top two teams in each conference will meet in the playoffs on February 5th in Miami, and the winners will go on to play in Lingerie Bowl VII on February 7th. Most teams are coached by former NFL players and coaches. And these chicks have backgrounds in competitive athletics. Most have played sports in college, so they aren't punks either! Expect real football with no girlie ball catching/throwing. These beautiful women are skilled! For more info. check out the league's site http://www.lflus.com/.
