NFL player dead at 25!

O.J. Murdock, a player for the Tennessee Titans, was found by Tampa police today at 830am in his car in front of Middleton High School- where he once went to school. He died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound 2 hours later at Tampa General Hospital.

O.J. was signed last year to the Titans as an undrafted player, but never played in a game due to an Achilles injury.

It's sad that whatever he was going through made him feel like he had to take his life. Our condolences go out to O.J.'s family & friends.

getting a lot of press as of late not only for her skills
on the track but for being a virgin. The bi-racial beauty
confessed to being a virgin and has been a topic

commendable. But why is virginity such "news"?

My dream is connected to the Olympic Games and I could not possibly participate if I did not respect their values. Therefore, I could never believe in discrimination between human beings and races.

I would like to apologize to all my friends and fellow athletes, who I may have insulted or shamed, the National Team, as well as the people and companies who support my athletic career. Finally, I would like to apologize to my coach and my family.

Bolt is Back!!!

Track & Field fans, Mr. Usain Bolt is set and ready to compete in the 2012 Olympics. He confirmed in a recent interview with the English Press that he indeed had a back injury and aggravated hamstring but is back to normal now. People have been speculating since he lost twice in the trials: in the 100-meter and then in the 200-meter to his fellow teammate (Yohan Blake).

Usain will also be Jamaica's flag bearer tomorrow for the Opening Ceremony. He says,
“My aim now is to become a legend, and that’s what I’m working towards.” The world's eyes will be on him and the rest of the Jamaican Olympic Track & Field team as they are the country to beat! Check your local listings and tune in for the men's 100 meter on Aug. 5th and the 200 meter on Aug. 9th.

No matter the outcome at next month's Olympics, Mr. Bolt will always be a Champion in my eyes!

Wow Pilar's body is RIDICULOUS! After 3 kids, this 38 year old has abs to die for! I'm so jealous, these pics are going to be my personal inspiration to get back into shape. Ladies take note! (Pilar I would definitely buy your workout plan.)

In other Pilar news: Deion Sanders has been ordered to pay $10,500 monthly in child support and $275,000 for his now ex-wife's legal fees. Even though there are no winners in divorce, I must say Pilar did pretty well. Now I hope they can both move on with their lives and stop with all the drama.

Creflo Dollar Arrested!!!

Say it ain't so! According to several media outlets - Pastor Creflo Dollar was arrested at 2am this morning in Atlanta and charged with Battery. Right now the details are sketchy but it is said that he grabbed his teenage daughter around the neck and choked her. He posted a $5000 bond and was released.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say she got caught doing something she had no business doing and he had to "yoke" her! LOL. I grew up in a Christian household that firmly believed in "spare the rod, spoil the child". What else could it be at 2am? Hmmmm....very interesting.

Finally a Face to the Name

Photos surfaced today of baby Blue Ivy Carter, daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z. Just a few days after Mommy & Daddy were spotted at Daddy's concert at Carnegie Hall in NYC. She's so beautiful and doll-like. Beyonce's genes are definitely strong - wow! They look so happy, congratulations to them again! (And the rumor-mill is buzzing that the Carter's plan to patent and trademark baby Blue's name.)

Beyonce looked fantastic earlier this week at Carnegie Hall, while supporting her man's event. I just want to know what she did to bounce back so quickly. PLEASE TELL ME!!! It took me damn near a year after having my twins to not look pregnant. Some people are just blessed with good genes I guess. And the ring and nails in blue was a nice touch Bey! Loves it.

We all know that the "natural" look doesn't work for all of us, but she definitely pulled it off! I actually think she looks a lot better natural than relaxed. Her body also looks great, at first glimpse I though she was a model draped in all that high fashion garb! Too Real for TV

I love a good reality show and VH1's Mob Wives is one of my favorites. Because along with most Americans, I've always been fascinated by the mob and gangsta movies. But today Renee Graziano was rushed to the hospital after news broke that her father Anthony Graziano and several others from the Bonanno Crime Family were arrested in an early morning raid. Renee had a panic attack and was having trouble breathing. I don't blame her since it is rumored that her ex-husband (Hector Pagan or "Junior" as he is called on the show) is the DEA's rat that got her father arrested! Poor Renee, things will get better girl. This is truly a sad situation. Talk about BETRAYAL...Smh.

Haiti 2 Years Later

Remember.....



On January 12, 2010 the small island was hit with a 7.0 magnitude earthquake that killed approximately 300,000 people and more were injured. It is also reported that 52 aftershocks were felt in the 2 weeks afterwards.The Haitian government estimates over 280,000 buildings (both residential and commercial) were damaged. A million people were left homeless and countless "tent cities" where erected to house these displaced people. Now 2 years later the tents are still there, even though about half of the occupants have moved out and the rebuilding is moving at a snails pace. And Haiti has not seem much of the money pledged by people all over the world due to the country's corrupt government. I say all this to say - Please Don't Forget Haiti! They still need help. I can only imagine what these people have gone through in the last two years.

Just by his swag alone I should have known that he is a Libra! Yes ladies he was born on October 13 in 1988. He is 6 foot 2 inches and 170 lbs., which you can't tell when you see him on the tube. He looks so young and small compared to all the seasoned players on the court. He inked a 2 year 2.21 million dollar deal with the Heat, I think its safe to say - It was money well spent! The 23 year old comes from Cleveland State where he got a degree in Health Sciences. Not our typical hottie but he is an instant fan favorite whose personality on the court definately says he is of STAR quality and is destined for greatness! All eyes are on the rookie, I see 2012 is going to be a big year for Norris.

Okay guys unless you have been under a rock, you have heard the news that Hip Hop rapper/mogul Shawn Carter aka Jay-Z and his Pop-star wife Beyonce Knowles had their first child, Blue Ivy Carter this past Saturday. Congratulations to them! Im sure lil Blue is a cutey pa-tootie.

Today Jay-Z released a new single called "Glory" commemorating the birth of his baby girl saying "Last time the miscarriage was so tragic/We was afraid you'd disappear/But nah baby you magic." and "The most amazing feeling I feel, words can’t describe what I’m feeling for real / Baby, I paint the sky blue, my greatest creation was you." But the sweetest thing about the song is the audio of baby blue crying just minutes after coming into the world. (Click below to hear the song)

From these two lines I got 2 things: one Beyonce seems so much more normal and human-tragedy does not discriminate, rich or poor it comes to us all and two if the little boy rumored to be Jay-z's son is really his child - this song must be like a dagger in his heart. I'm happy for Jay and Bey but sooooo sad for little man! (BTW that boy looks like Jay...I'm Just Saying!)
